Lieder für ein fürstliches Brautpaar

Our first complete CD! It mostly contains songs by Louys de Moy, who composed music in the French style on the occasion of two weddings. De Moy was a court lutenist in Emden, where the two prints comprising most of the CD were published in 1632 and 1633. The special thing is that the two original manuscripts are currently stored at the Rostock University Library. This CD was produced on the occasion of the Rostock’s university and city anniversary. The recording is enriched by the participation of viol player Lea Rahel Bader and transverse flutist Liane Sadler.
