ITALIA!

We are pleased to release our first demo CD, entitled “ITALIA!”, which includes works by Giovanni Girolamo Kapsperger (1580-1651) and Claudio Monteverdi (1567-1643)

The god Cupid is addressed in a variety of songs, including villanelles, arias and canto in the “Stile Recitativo”. Cupid’s generosity is praised, his unfairness is lamented, but eventually those suffering from love often end up smiling at him themselves.

The CD cases are made from recycled cardboard.

The CDs can be purchased at our concerts for €10 or ordered for €10 + €1.95 shipping. To order, simply write an email to kontakt@duesoprailbasso.de with the desired number of pieces and a shipping address. As soon as we receive the payment via bank transfer or Paypal, we will ship the CDs as quickly as possible.
